Queen Letizia in red to celebrate the Spanish Basketball Team

On September 16, 2019 King Felipe VI of Spain and Queen Letizia held an audience at Zarzuela Royal Palace to celebrate the win of the Spanish basketball team at the Basketball World Cup against Argentina in Beijing, China. All basketball players exhibit their gold medals and bring the gold trofy to the King and Queen of Spain. After that King Felipe VI try on the gold medal of one basketball player.

On the occasion Queen Letizia welcomed the winner team wearing a patriotic red midi A-line dress with matching slingback heels. The sleeveless dress has a long front opening with a zip and a round neck. Queen Letizia opts for a natural make up and let her brown hair loose. The Spanish Royals are surrounded by the tall basketball players, on average all taller than King Felipe.

Queen Letizia finished the look wearing her modern diamond and ruby cabochon dangle earrings which well matched the red dress. She looks elegant as always but in this occasion she steals the show for her tiny frame compared to the giant basketball players.
