Duchess of Cambridge dazzles in a red dress to host a reception at Buckingham Palace

On the evening of January 20, 2020 the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge held a reception for the UK-Africa Investment Summit at Buckingham Palace alongside other members of the British Royal Family as Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Countess of Wessex. This is Prince William's first solo reception at Buckingham Palace where he and other Royals received 21 delegations from Africa.

For the evening, the Duchess of Cambridge wears a £410 red sequins gown from the British brand Needle and Tread. The dress has a round neck, long sheer sleeves and a skirt made of tulle and sequins. Duchess Kate paired the dress with a pair of £510 red suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi and £455 red pony hair with a gold metal frame from Jenny Packham.

She finished the look with a new pair of earrings. They are the 18 ct yellow gold vermeil on sterling silver drop earrings from Soru with rubies and sparkling crystals priced $270 that completed very well her glamorous ensemble.
