Duchess of Cambridge dazzles in Van Cleef and Arpels jewels at BAFTAs 2020

On February 2, 2020 the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrives on the BAFTs 2020 red carpet to attend the Awards Ceremony at Royal Alber Hall in London. The Duke of Cambridge as President of Accademy made a speech for the event and the Duchess of Cambridge respects the dress code that is to wear recycled, vintage outfits or from a sustainable fashion designer.

On the occasion, the Duchess of Cambridge re-wears her bespoke Alexander McQueen white and gold gown first worn in 2012 for the State Dinner in Malaysia. The floor lenght gown has a scoop neckline, short sleeves and a glittering gold hibiscus embroidery.

She finished the look with new jewels wearing the new Magic Alhambra parure from Van Cleef and Arpels. The £5,400 earrings are in yellow gold and mother of pearl and the £7,850 necklace is with 6 motifs in yellow gold and mother of the pearl.
