The Duchess of Sussex visits the City of Johannesburg during two solo engagements

In the morning of October 1, 2019 the Duchess of Sussex arrives at the University of Johannesburg to meet professors and students to promote the women's access to higher education. She is the Royal Patron of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. A big crowd greets Meghan on her arrival at the University where she talks about how higher education is a key element for economic and personal growth, committing to support accessible education.

For this first engagement in the morning, she wears a $149 double breasted light brown trench dress without sleeves from Banana Republic. The dress has a belt at the waist, a V-neck and two side pockets. She compleated the look with a pair of $375 nude suede pumps from Stuart Weitzman with a pointed toe and a classic stiletto heel. Then she adds a 18 ct yellow gold chain bracelet with a central turquoise enamel eye from Alemdara priced £275 and the $250 18 ct yellow gold ring with a central marquise cut turquoise from Jennifer Meyer.

For the following engagement on the penultimate day of the South Africa Royal Tour, the Duchess of Sussex visits Action Aid Centre in Johannesburg that is an after school club talking about violence against women and girls and about gender equality as a national problem in South Africa along with the lack of education.

On the occasion Meghan wears a $455 khaki shirt dress in cotton from Room 502 with short sleeves, a waist belt, frontal lined buttons and two frontal pockets. She paired the dress with a pair of black suede pumps from Manolo Blahnik with a pointed toe, an upper low cut and a stiletto heel priced $665. She wears a pair of earrings from Pichulik, a local jewellery brand in Cape Town priced $120. The earrings are made of a woven black rope embellished with copper beads and a khaki braid rope with black wax cotton. As usual, during this royal tour, she's wearing the 18 ct yellow gold ring with a turquoise from Jennifer Meyer priced $250 and a 18 ct yellow gold bracelet with a turquoise enamel eye from Alemdara priced £275.
