Queen Letizia in blue velvet dress for Diplomatic Corps Reception
On February 5, 2020 the King and Queen of Spain welcomed foreign ambassadors to the Royal Palace in Madrid for the annual Diplomatic Corps Reception. The Royal Couple greeted the foreign diplomats as they arrived in the Royal Palace and later King Felipe VI gave a speech in the Throne Room before the reception.

On the occasion, Queen Letizia wears a regal blue midnight velvet long gown from Felipe Varela first worn in 2018. The elegant gown has long ballon sleeves, a round collar with crystal buttons on the chest and is fitted at the waist with a belt in the same fabric of the dress. On her feet she wears a pair of shiny black platform pumps from Magrit.
