Queen Maxima of The Netherlands in a regal style for Prince's Day 2019
On September 17, 2019 the King and the Queen of The Netherlands attend the Prince's Day 2019 in the Hague, Netherlands. This is an important day for The Netherlands as marks the open of the parliamentary year. On this day, King Willem Alexander who carried by a gold royal carriage from the Royal Palace arrives to the Hall of the Knights to deliver a speech that is called The Speech to the Throne to celebrate the new parliamentary year. After this speech, the Royal Couple returns at the Noordeinde Palace where are joined by the King's brother, Prince Costantijn and his wife, Princess Laurentien, to greet the crowd from the balcony.

For this very special ceremony Queen Maxima looks regal in a burgundy floor-lenght gown from one of her favorite designers for big ceremony, Jan Taminiau. The very simple gown features an A-line skirt, a rich red wine cape with beads and a waist belt. She accessorized the dress with a burgundy hat from Philip Treacy, a red wine beaded clutch bag, a pair of heeled shoes in the same shade of the gown and a pair of red wine gloves.

As always for important ceremony, the Queen brings out sparkling jewelry, wearing two diamonds bracelet on each wrist, a pair of floral diamond and ruby stud earrings and a diamond and ruby brooch, looking solemn. For the final stage of the ceremony, the Dutch Royal Family goes out on the balcony to greet the crowd.
